AAUA Has Come of Age- Ogunruku

The doyen of University administration and former Registrar of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Mr. Ayo Ogunruku, has commended the tremendous and rapid development of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, saying the institution has come of age.

Mr. Ogunruku gave the commendation on Wednesday when he led members of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International on a tour of AAUA.

Speaking after the tour, Mr. Ogunruku, who is the National Director of the Fellowship, said, “Sincerely, AAUA has come of age in terms of structures and academic excellence. I have come to this campus four times.

“I appreciate the successive leadership, of the institution for the work they have done. Your Senate Building is a magnum-opus, no doubt about it. Seeing the other structures coming up from different faculties is really giving the image of what an institution should be.

“I am proud of what God is doing in the institution, and the government of Ondo State, and the leadership of the institution.”

Earlier in his address of welcome, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, had thanked the fellowship for thinking it necessary to visit the University.
