The AAUA Leadership Institute for Public Policy and Sustainable Development (LIPPSDev) is a pivotal intervention centre in the training of public policy drivers and positioned as a platform for well-thought-out public policy and a veritable crucible for practical training in policy and sustainable development. It aims at improving leadership skills among clients.

We aspire to be a leading and top-class learning and development centre for initiating and development robust training programmes for public policy drivers and capacity building interventions that stimulate the expansion of both the technical, moral and functional capabilities and creativity of individuals and equipping them to contribute to and serve the society with pride and integrity.

To create and preserve a learning environment of repute, committed to developing individual potentials and enhancing their personal competence, adaptability and efficiency, and supporting both Government business and entrepreneurial effectiveness for the benefit of the society and, through these activities contribute to improved financial position of the University. These are to be achieved:
Through the provision of facilities for training of short duration for public policy practitioners;

By exposing subscribers to the nuances of policy as a social category and the implications thereof for social and sustainable human development;

By serving as crucible for public policy formation;

By serving as a practical training forum in AAUA relevant graduate and undergraduate programmes; non-government organizations and other interested parties;

By serving as a platform for mobilizing funds for the University academic development

The Leadership Institute for Public Policy and Sustainable Development (LIPPSDev) is the arm of the Adekunle Ajasin University that has the mandate to manage and execute the entire bi-lateral programme agreements on behalf of the two parties involved that is, AAUA, Nigeria and GIMI, Israel. The institute handles all the programme matters relating to both academic and non-academic issues including the following:
