Welcome Message

The University has Information and Communication Technology Application Centre (ICTAC) which serves as a central academic support unit that provides computing and ICT facilities to all sections of the University community.


The brief of the ICTAC includes:


Student Support Services,

Researcher’s Support Services,

and Management Support Services.

Presently, the Centre, through the development of software packages to aid Management in the effective performance of its administrative and management functions, has computerized


Matriculation Number Generation,

Examination Result Computation,

and Transcript of Academic Records Generation.

The Centre manages internet network infrastructures and maintains wireless network which provides internet access across the University community. It also maintains a functional and up-to-date website and an e-Library for the University.


The Centre has a Computer Literacy Programme for the staff of the University as well as a number of Professional Certificate and Diploma Programmes developed as part of its contributions to Government’s efforts at making the nation ICT compliant.
