Welcome to the Faculty of Science at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, a vibrant academic community where scientific excellence meets societal relevance.
As Dean, I am honored to lead a faculty driven by a clear mission: to empower students with rigorous scientific education, foster impactful research, and contribute meaningfully to national and global development. Our vision is to be a leading center of scientific innovation, producing knowledge that transcends the laboratory and transforms lives.
Through interdisciplinary programs, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a dynamic learning environment, we prepare our students not just for careers but for lifelong contributions to science and humanity. We are committed to nurturing inquisitive minds, promoting critical thinking, and advancing research that addresses real-world challenges, including climate change, public health, technological innovation, and resource management.
To our newly admitted and returning students, we extend a heartfelt welcome. You are now part of a faculty that values academic excellence, integrity, and leadership. We encourage you to pursue your studies with diligence, uphold the highest standards of character, and represent our faculty and university with pride.
