It is my privilege and delight to welcome you to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA), fondly known as the University on the Hill. Ours is a distinguished institution founded on a legacy of excellence, resilience, and service to humanity.

At AAUA, we believe that a great university does more than educate students; it inspires innovation, advances knowledge, transforms communities, and develops responsible leaders. Guided by this vision, my administration is committed to positioning AAUA as a true 21st-Century University that is globally competitive, technologically driven, financially sustainable, and people-centred.

Since its establishment in 1982, AAUA has grown in strength and reputation, producing graduates who have distinguished themselves across diverse professions in Nigeria and beyond. Our motto, For Learning and Service, guides everything we do: we teach with care, we pursue research that solves real problems, and we serve our community with pride.

We are committed to creating an environment where excellence thrives, innovation flourishes, and all members of our community are empowered to achieve their full potential. These priorities are anchored on the enduring values of transparency, accountability, merit, and integrity.
