Department of Estate Management

Welcome to the Department of Estate Management, Faculty of Environmental and Design Management at the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria.

The broad philosophy of the Department is summarised as: “production of graduates in Estate Management who are professionally equiped to be nationally relevant and internationally recognizeable”. The Department offers standard five-year programme of study leading to BSc Degree in Estate Management.

In order to pursue and achieve the philosophy, the Department has involved in teaching, research, and provision of services to the community. The curriculum has been developed to capture all the core courses, which are basic to the spartial science profession as well as all those courses which are relevant to the practice of Estate Management.

The programme is broadened by courses in Estate Management, Real Estate, Management, Brokers, Investors, Trust, Return, Land Use and Law,land surveying, geodesy, GIS, photogrammetry, remote sensing, and cartography. Students gain a broad-based experience ranging from acquisition, analysis, storage, distribution, management and application of spatially-reference data.
